As a Facebook poster I saw said, “It’s not National BBQ Day!”. Thank a veteran. Take flowers to a cemetery. Remember that we enjoy the freedoms we have in this country because of men and women who put their lives on the line to keep us free. As for me, I want to thank my dad, Harold, who just got back from an Honor Flight trip to Washington, DC, with a flag for his granddaughter’s grave (see the attached photos); my father-in-law Robert, and stepfather-in-law, Howard; my brother, Ken; my nephews, Robby, Phil, and Nick, and my niece-in-law, Angela; my daughter, Lisa; my adopted daughters, Elissa, Enochia, Kim, Aletha, Yolanda, and Kendra; and all the other vets and currently serving men and women I know – thank you for your service! Bravo Zulus to you all…..
I'm looking forward to getting to know my followers and letting them get to know me. There's no telling what may pop up on here, because I wear a lot of hats: wife/mother/daughter/sister, homemaker, school librarian, freelance writer, avid reader, jewelry designer/maker, and Christian woman. I'm new at blogging, so please be patient with me. Grab a cup of tea and let's get acquainted!
